As of January 2009, we are the same as child molesters.
If you have taken pictures of BDSM acts, you could end up in court, and on the sex offenders register. The acts you can do, just do not take pictures.
My personnel favorite quote is from the BBC article.
"I completely agree with this Bill. It's disgusting to think that someone finds it "kinky" to watch a women being raped, or having sex with a dead person and that their "rights" should be protected. What about the people in the video being raped??? Surely the people that like to watch "kinky porn" agree that there is a line, and surely if people cross the line should held accountable (and I'm talking about extreme cases, not just someone who finds bondage kinky). They say the ultimate pornography is murder, don't you think that these videos are stepping-stones to the ultimate act? Don't you watch porn to fulfil your fantasies? I think if this becomes "acceptable" behaviour, then people will be able to argue that processing child-porn is just as innocent.

Ok, who's going to tell her.
The number one female sexual fantasy.
Oddest thing, the act is not worded that well. Rape is not mentioned, unless it has changed since I last read it. Also the act does not make it clear enough what it is actually going after so if it is BDSM kinky, look forward to the police visit.
Here is the thing, no-one is disagreeing about necro, or bestiality. The problem is that this act is not about them, they are going after everyone. I even see why they have done this, can you imagine how easy it is going to be to get a warrent under this act. You looked at illegal porn, oh no you did not, but look at all this illegally downloaded material.
Two really bizarre things: -
1. If you actual read the case stuff Graham Coutts interest started at about 12, so what was he exposed to? What atually started it? Keep in mind that the sex practice pre-dates the birth of Christ. I guess that strangling people, goes back a lot further.
2. Everyone keeps missing the really big part of this act, mainstream stuff, can be illegal under this law. Got a mainstream clip collection, you could be in big trouble.
Was watching the Mary Whitehouse film, how the BBC has changed, no to censorship, and now down with the evil doers.
Most disturbing thing I have seen recently, BBC drama Kiss of Death, the scenes of the kidnaped woman at the end. Freaky.
